A book launch of the anthol­o­gy “Mod­ern India in Ger­man Archives (MIDA). In Memo­ri­am Diet­mar Rother­mund”, pub­lished by Drau­pa­di, was held at the Cen­tre for Asian and Tran­scul­tur­al Stud­ies of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Hei­del­berg on 13 Feb­ru­ary 2023. After the pre­sen­ta­tion of the book and the work of the MIDA project by edi­tor and prin­ci­pal inves­ti­ga­tor Michael Mann, an inter­est­ed audi­ence, which includ­ed for­mer stu­dents and col­leagues of Mr. Rother­mund, was able to dis­cuss the con­tents of the vol­ume in a Q&A ses­sion mod­er­at­ed by Hans Hard­er.
